This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was so pleased with the food, the whole place aesthetics and everyone’s service. But if I could rate Kale’s (our server) it would be 1000/10. So elegant, articulate and has a more and beyond type of service approach. We’re not from Philly but this last meal before going back home felt like home. Thank you so much! So sad about the boba bar closing tho :(

Kyuramen x TBaar is such a phenomenal spot in Philly. I've been here several times over the past year and I've never received any food or service the deserved a rating less than 5 stars. First, I have had curries, buns, and ramens at this place and it has never been less that delicious. The buns are light and fluffy, a bit more on the bready side, but the rich seasoning of the filling makes up for it. The curry is served piping hot, almost led me to burn my mouth a couple times, but the curry has notes of onion and potato and a spice I'm only able to find whenever I make it at home. And the ramen is no joke; it's served piping hot. I had to make some changes because I am deathly allergic to shrimp, and it was perfect, it was warm and amazing without being overwhelmingly spicy. The service is also top notch. Many of the times I've been there, I've had a member of my party come in a little late and it's somehow never been a problem, they always let me sit first and wait for my friend if it isn't busy. The servers are also nice and professional, they never step out of line and I've never had an issue with them. They also serve relatively quickly, my drinks and food came out in less

Food and drinks were delightful! Me and my friends walked in and I felt hungry and nervous but the restaurant had an amazing atmosphrere, it felt very safe and homey. But what truly made this an amazing experience was my waiter, Timothy. He made me feel confident and was the best waiter I could wish for. He changed our entire groups evening for a better, his warmness to us impacted our entire group. We had a genuine connection with him due to him reaching out first to show his experience with customers, and we found out we shared similar hobbies. Me and my friend ordered one bowl for both of us and then he saved us the trouble for asking for empty bowls and gave it to us himself by inferring, what an intelligent guy, right? After we finish eating, me and my fiend who shared a bowl tried to split the cost, but we had no small bills and had to both pay 20. After this he figured it was much easier to print out a seperate check because our other friends had their own bowls. He took some time out of his day even though he was a busy guy, genuine love. This shows that this is a place to return to due to one genuine guy. He honestly needs a raise for how well of a job he is doing and need

Kyuramen Philadelphia serves up a cozy, modern ramen experience that’s both Instagram-worthy and satisfying. The broth is rich and flavorful, especially in their signature tonkotsu ramen, and the noodles have a great texture. Their menu goes beyond ramen with tasty appetizers like bao buns and omurice, which add variety to the meal. The atmosphere is intimate, with private booth seating that makes it a fun spot for dates or small groups. While it can get busy during peak hours, the quality of the food and overall vibe make it well worth the wait.

I went multiple times during my stay. The food is healthy, good quality, and tastes great. I was obsessed with the chili cucumbers. I ate at a couple of okay places in Philly and kept thinking I should have just gone to Kyuramen.
